After an initial spat of posts, we thought we’d take a moment to explain what the purpose of the blog is and to invite feedback.
Right now we’re dedicated to aggregating news of the creative and creative-critical achievements of graduate students in the UB English Department as well as Comparative Literature and Media Studies. We’d like to cast a broad net in order to reflect the full range of work going on here and its often cross-disciplinary and cross-genre aspects.
We’ll post occasional calls for news or post it as we hear about it. If you want to tell us about a publication or event, please write up the post as you want it to appear with any accompanying links and pictures. We’ll post it here.
If we’ve posted anything that is not correct or in need of elaboration, we’re happy to make changes.
Who are We?
Right now all posts are run through the current Graduate Poetics Group Vice-President. Please send posts here: GraduatePoetics@gmail.com
What Else Can We Do?
We’re a graduate organization that wants to represent the poetic accomplishments of UB graduate students and not simply the accomplishments of poetics students. If there is anything else you’d like to see us do, please let us know.
